    We’re finally deep in the holiday season so I humbly present to you The 12 Bricks of Christmas!

    Our inspiration this week are twelve bricks that we all have likely received on at least one Christmas day.

    Rules:
    1. No part limit
    2. One build using each of the twelve bricks (overachievers may submit twelve builds each featuring a different brick)
    3. Build may be anything

    Due: December 25th

    Prize: All entrants receive a chance to win guaranteed placement on Santa’s “Nice” list

    The bricks are:
    1×1 round brick
    1×1 cone brick
    Technic pin w/ stud
    Robot arm (older w/ clip, stud, and antistud)
    Headlight brick
    2×2 dish
    1×2 hinge brick
    1×1 round plate
    1×2 jumper plate
    Lever
    1×1 plate modified w/ horizontal clip
    1×1 plate modified lamp holder

    My theme is bug aliens’ Christmas. The first brick of Christmas is one clip plate.

    The website didn’t send me email notification of this thread, it came to my attention when I noticed Frost’s photo in my Flick stream. I am liking this one already, Jonah’s entry is quite clever. It’s maybe not quite Febrovery, but I am still looking forward to the next eleven days. We’ll have to see if I am able to come up with an entry in time, I might, although it’s more likely to be of the underachieving type.

    @smallfrost I like the one-eyed bug snowman!

    @tfdesigns
    Santa is sure to find your tree with a red guidance light on top! I like the trans-tree design!

    @bengood921
    I’m torn on tagging people to notify them as those who are tagged may not want to be slammed with update emails and those who aren’t tagged may feel miffed. We need some kind of “you may be interested” notification system.

    The second brick of Christmas is two hinge bricks. I used them to angle the front and back of the sleigh.

    We’re going to get a double treat of “Frosty” goodness – original Frost and Small Frost. Yea!

    @smallfrost that’s a really neat little robot! I like the arms-as-wheels idea.

    @tfdesigns
    those dishes remind me of @bengood921’s space plants – is that a mini Christmas tree?!

    I can’t wait to get building once my Christmas break starts!

    missed this thread but caught it on flickr! Awesome

    Tom, do you have any issues with posting links from flickr? I know @knb112 and @lunch36 had posted about having problems.

    Tom, do you have any issues with posting links from flickr?

    I just paste in the URL. It automatically displays the picture and links to the flickr page. The only problem I’ve encountered is when trying to paste more than one in the same post. The site does not like that.

    Two things: (1) how the heck are you going to fit all twelve gifts into that room? It’s already getting pretty full. 😀 (2) is anyone else singing the “12 Days of Christmas Song” using Tom’s lyrics? Priceless!

    For day 9, this buggoid is decorating his house with some festive lights. The part, or course, is the 1×1 round plate.
