Dear LAN Ambassadors and communities in USA, Germany and China,

I’m sharing another survey with you that I hope you’ll share with the communities. I know that community members from the rest of the world would like to participate in these surveys and that communities in the regions that are frequently asked is probably fatigue by surveys. However I believe it is super important to have AFOL voices in these surveys, so it’s not “only” parents to young LEGO builders, who are answering the surveys from us.

This is a part of a bigger study and there’s been surveys in the pasts linking in to this study – I should be able to share results from this study in Q1 or Q2 2020.

Tell us what you think! This is a chance to participate in a short eSurvey to help us understand how people feel about plastics and The LEGO Group.

I did not look at the survey, but from the title I can guess where this is going. I do despise single use plastic, especially drink bottles, when there are good alternatives.

A good argument for LEGO is that it is reusable (unless it is Kragled.) The strongest argument would be to say that humanity should not be investing energy / petroleum in ANY non-essential item considering the impending climate disaster.

Of course, I would hope we get rid of the stuff in the Dollar Store before the products in the LEGO store.

I took the survey. It was long.

My final suggestion is that one of their goals is to make a product with a long life, but that doesn’t happen when they change the technology for their robotics and train systems, making the earlier versions obsolete.
