I’ll add my modulars to the sheet this week.

I’m going to sign up for displaying only for now, but that will likely change as we get closer. 😊

Found a moment this morning to add my modulars to the sheet. I can also build the Boutique Hotel and Tutor Corner (when it arrives) if needed.

    @pete
I know you brought some last year. If there are any that both you and I have, bring yours. I can swap mine out for something else.

Throwing it out there that I am willing to share my building space.

I can bring just the street and trolley and we have 6 more baseplates available for more displayers.

So if you’re interested and not seeing space available, it can be!!

    I will do that.

Here’s an updated layout with today’s additions. Still (10) spaces left for 32×32, plus (10) for 16×32, plus John has offered to share his 32×32 MOC spaces.

Just post here with the space numbers that you want for your MOC or build.

I’ve signed up for Saturday and Sunday. Like last time, I’ll show up early Saturday to get the trains running and stay out of the way of MILS setup. Any last minute stuff before the show starts, I’ll gladly help.

I’m bringing the BIG steam trains for the outer loops along with some new train cars. If we have power, I need two outlets for the chargers as I’m bringing an armada of rechargeable batteries and two chargers that do 16 AAA each and I have way more than 32 batteries. Should be more than enough for the weekend, with some to spare to support other trains if needed.

I don’t have MILS buildings to bring but I do have some Speed Champion sized vehicles to bring to the city streets. Might even bring the Lego Lamborghini LM002 out for a spin. XD

Spaces 1, 2, 9, 23, 32, and 33 would be good for “rural” builds (barns, silos, farm fields, etc.) and landscaping (forests, ponds, fields, etc.). If none of those get taken, I can fill in with some forests.

I have (2) 32×32 ponds still together from last year that I’ll bring. I also have a 32×32 Classic Train station and a couple of 16×32 buildings. I was waiting until we see how things fill out before claiming spots for them on the layout.

I’m also working on some half-sized modulars for some of the spaces that could be MOC or filler.

Those could work well in spaces 28, 29, 30, and 31.

BTW, I love the detail in the track and layout plan. Very nicely done!

Locomotion Weekend is confirmed for 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. So the shifts in the Event sign up are correct (10-1 and 1-4 each day).

I also just put in to Nicole our formal request for 11 six-foot tables per the layout plan. Thank you.

    @timf
, we’d actually like 13 tables, 11 for the layout and 2 for the back tables against the wall to hold the excess rolling stock and to do train maintenance. She gave us 13 last year, so hopefully they’re all still available.

@rcgrier3406 I have amended our request to 13 six foot tables. Thank you.

I got two more half modulars done: construction site and dog training. I marked off some spaces for them on the sheet.

Nicole at the CSC has confirmed that our Load in Time on Friday, January 17 starts at 1:00 pm. I am working until noon that day and should be able to get down there by around 2:00 pm.

    FROM NICOLE:
Here are instructions from our special events department:

    DROP OFF DIRECTIONS
*The best option for drop off is the PointView Hall loading dock. There is direct access to the freight elevator that loads directly into PointView Hall.
*To get to this loading dock from North Shore Drive, you will go past our main entrance.
*The first right turn (after the main entrance) is the entrance for the loading dock. It will come up quickly on your right immediately after our main entrance. If you are traveling from the south on North Shore Drive, the entrance is on your left.
    * Please buzz in at the door as a staff member will have to meet you at the loading dock and escort you to your space.
*You are welcome to load and unload but may not leave any vehicles in the dock for an extended amount of time without arranging this with a staff member prior to arriving. Vehicles may not remain running while in the loading dock.
*Sometimes there are carts available to help you load into the hall, but they are not guaranteed.
*You will need to move your vehicle into a parking spot after you load in. Please ask a Special Events staff member for the best place for you to park.

Here’s the latest layout. There are (4) open 32×32 spaces left, all at the corners. If no-one takes them, we’ll put 32×32 green blanks there and build some trees during the event to fill them out.

There are also (7) 16×32 spaces left. I have (2) 16×32 modular buildings that aren’t on the layout yet. I’ll add them during set-up if no-one takes these spaces, along with 16×32 green blanks to fill in any holes.

@rcgrier3406, I can bring my giant Lambo tractor to take over either front 32×32 blank corner (the one based on Clarkson’s Farm). Do you or @joshhall have any plant parts that would look good for a farm row? I think I have some reddish brown 1×8 plates I could use behind my seed drill.

When I arrive early on Saturday to set up the big trains, I’ll get that tractor on the corner and set up the rows of dirt or plants. I’ll just need a green 32×32 module ready in place.

@playingwithechoes, I’ll have lots of plant parts there, but I don’t have any “crops” per se. I think @joshhall has parts for a wheat field, but I’ll let him confirm that. The green 32×32 will be in place and ready when you arrive Saturday morning.

I’ll plan to staff at least one day. I’m not sure if I’ll have anything for display.

@pete and @willmcdine let me know if you need me to pull out any of my modulars so you can put something in. I’m starting to dig them out and dust them off.

Thanks, @rcgrier3406. I’ll bring it and the red seed drill attachment. (See attached) Might take up the whole 32×32 baseplate, now that I look at it. LOL As Kaleb said on the show, “It’s too big!”

Will also bring some new unusual super cars for the streets since I can tuck them between the trains in my travel boxes.

4K Camera train car is also looking good to be on time for this. 🙂

@gabevistica, I’ll be there at 1 pm to unload, and will have a full carload of MILS bases, track, etc. to bring upstairs. They usually have carts available, and there’s an elevator right by the North Shore Drive loading dock (see attached). First hour or so will be unloading and getting the venue tables set-up, arranged the way we want them and then leveled so it will be 2:30 or so before we actually start putting down MILS bases and track.

We’re in Pointview Hall, which is on the 3rd floor of the PPG Pavillion (above where the PIXAR exhibit has been). If you’re not unloading anything and just want to come in the main entrance, turn left past the gift shop and the elevators are across from the staircase. Bring your parking ticket with you and the CSC people will have stickers to put on the back to cover parking.
