Free kids LEGO table

The different color baseplates look really cool. How easily does it come apart? Could it be the basis for a LUG display item, like in the Cranberry Library display case? If someone wants it for there kids then that’s great, but if not, there seem to be other possibilities here. 🙂

People with space for it get creative freedom.

it’s too big for the cranberry library display case.

the bethel park library didn’t have the space for their play area.

it doesn’t come apart easily and it’s heavy. it’s also awkward.

Seeing this table reminded me of the Sawaya sculpture in the image below and how fun it would be to use the primary colors in the table as the basis for the build above. Buuut, ideas are cheap, aren’t they? 🙂

I’ll talk to Jenny. This is “cute” enough that she may actually build with it. She would also like the bricks are concentrated rather than all over the apartment (she let me break some out of storage last weekend – I think she’s already regretting it haha).

I don’t know how tall Jenny is, but this thing is for people under 5’

Jenny said she would build on it! She’s a couple inches over 5′, but I can put a board underneath for her if needed.

That said, if someone with kids would like it I won’t be offended if they take first dibs.
