Hey Steel City LUG- My name’s Nick. It was great to meet you all, participate in the build challenge, and be sworn into the group earlier today!
I was a big Lego kid that loved hanging around the LUG when I was growing up in Raleigh, and after coming out of my dark ages in the last few years I was so happy to see there’s a community here in Pittsburgh!
My favorite projects recently have been creating Lego versions of my friends’ wedding pictures as an anniversary gift (as we’re all at that age where everybody was getting married in the past few years). But I’ve always been amazed by the gigantic builds and displays people put together, and want to dive into that myself, like expanding modular and Ninjago city lineups.
Excited to see you all around!
Nick, it was great meeting you. Your builds are truly amazing and full of so much great detail. I look forward to seeing you again soon. 🙂
