KeymasterTrying to mimic some curves and I am not sure how to do it. Anyone have any ideas?
pic below is what I’m trying to recreate in 2 dimensions. The window I’m thinking is a 6 stud wide scale.
I don’t have any of these to play with, but I’m thinking they’re the only possible fit. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=18653#T=C probably oriented upside down.
Another challenge is the left dome.
any ideas?

Keymasterlooking at them now, they’re almost identical to the plate with tooth – https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=49668#T=C
but that’s obviously a much smaller scale I was going for.

ParticipantI don’t have any handy right now, but I don’t think that piece will generate much of a point at the top of your window, and possibly not one at all. You’d probably be better off simulating it using a combination of 75- and 45-degree inverted slopes. You could also try the 1x3x3 arch capped with 45-degree slopes but without trying it, I’m not sure if that will look okay or not.
I can’t think of any pieces that are the right size for that dome, you might wanna get Arthur Guigick’s free dome software and design it that way.

Keymasterto that point, maybe instead of trying to model those curves in light gray, I fake it with white plates in front of light gray…
for the windows, maybe just a 75 inverted with a 45 inverted to meet the other side…

Keymastercan’t find the category for these shell/bow/modguard pieces on bricklink, but they’re nice, just have no way to fill in the gap that would be created between the top of the curve and the rest of the wall.

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=6162#T=CI’m not completely digesting this thread, but I know I have some of these big curved pieces in mint green … I think they were from a Scala set.
