I moved to Indiana 2yrs ago and it has become home. I am a lifelong Lego fan who got back into Lego a few years back. I want to get involved in live activities with this group. I am currently building a Lego city/neighborhood and I have an instagram page dedicated to Lego. @mawi_bricks. I’m excited to meet fellow members and get involved. Thanks for having me!

November 6, 2024 at 11:57 am #61420mawibricksParticipantHi Benjamin,
Thank you. I found the group on social media. I was not aware of the December meeting. Oh geez, that’s a hike. lol.November 6, 2024 at 12:52 pm #61421Greg SchubertParticipantMark, you can attend the meeting virtually on Discord. Plan to build something LEGO on your own during that time. 🙂
Here is a discord invite for those who cannot make it to the Event and still want to attend
November 6, 2024 at 1:25 pm #61424mawibricksParticipantPerfect. Thank you!

Approximately 1 hour 45 minutes according to GoogleMaps (Indiana, PA to the Trolley Museum). Other live events coming up include Cranberry Township First Night on Friday, November 22 (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes) and Locomotion Weekend on January 17-19 (approximately 1 hour 10 minutes).
I don’t think we have anything currently scheduled in the Monroeville area but that would only be about an hour. Of course, if there is anything happening your way, as a group we tend to travel pretty well. 🙂
Welcome to the group. As a fellow town builder, I am looking forward to seeing your builds.
November 6, 2024 at 9:00 pm #61433Tom FrostParticipantWelcome to the group!
November 7, 2024 at 8:21 pm #61448mawibricksParticipantThanks Tim! Oh I would love to see your city!!! Mine is still in the infancy stage. haha.
November 7, 2024 at 8:21 pm #61449mawibricksParticipantThanks Tom! I love your profile pic!
November 7, 2024 at 8:26 pm #61450Ken Soriano-ClarkParticipantWelcome, Mark!
I’m also new to the group and I’m on the opposite side of Pittsburgh. Do you still have all of your childhood lego or only what you’ve started collecting as an adult?
I have my brother’s and my lego from when we were kids. I haven’t built with it at all, but I do enjoy flipping thru the original instruction books.

My “city” tends to habitat boxes most of the time. 😀
You can see some random pictures of different buildings on my Flickr page (I really need to get some better photographs taken and uploaded). https://www.flickr.com/photos/41914153@N03/
November 9, 2024 at 10:59 pm #61498DanParticipantHello Mark! I was in Indiana a lot earlier this year for some family matters. Had some King Buffet and Meadows ice cream!
Welcome to the club!
November 9, 2024 at 11:37 pm #61500mawibricksParticipantI only have what I started collecting as an adult. I wish I still had my Lego collection from when I was a child.
November 9, 2024 at 11:39 pm #61501mawibricksParticipantHey Dan,
Meadows is a fan favorite with my family! We still haven’t made it to King Buffet but I’ve heard good things. -
