I contacted the guy right after you posted, he said he’d sold them already.

Does someone want a 9V track system? I cannot say I priced this out, but it seems like a good deal – three switches tracks, a 9V power supply and lots of straight track, which are harder to find than curves.

I’ve spent SO MUCH MONEY on eBay lately. You and @randomdan need to stop tempting me.

Well, the cure for that problem is to post the interesting auctions that you find here to help a brother out.

Anyone looking for minifigs in the latest yellow series (11?), the WAL*MART near me has MORE than the original two boxes.

anyone looking to buy the research institute?? It’s back in stock online and I would totally pay someone if they ordered one for me, or added it to their holiday Lego order! I would buy it myself, but its free shipping over $75, and I’ve (well my mom did) already ordered my holiday order. So, if anyone is looking for help to bump their total over $75, let me know! I can use paypal or popmoney 🙂

I want to buy one also, but unfortunately there’s a limit of 1 per customer so I can’t get you one with the same order =(

    latest yellow series (11?)

11 was the green bags this time last year, with the elves and yeti and whatnot. Because 10 was the gold bags. Then the movie figs and Simpsons figs were left out of the count, so this yellow bag is 12. SCLUG Cares. 😀

I have relatives in Normal IL, anyone want to make a road trip?

Even Mr. Gold doesn’t have $30k lying around to drop on LEGO at the drop of a golden top hat.

That said, I, too, have relatives near Normal. Or, since $500 is nothing in light of $30,000: “For $500, and a deposit, paid by paypal, before I leave, I will drive up to about 400 miles (Nashville, Cleveland, Omaha) to deliver it to wherever you want or meet you at that distance.” We could have the guy meet us in Zanesville or Akron or something…

And there’s a Green Grocer and Statue of Liberty in there – those two sets alone are worth a couple grand…

Lego is cancelling any orders for the Research Institute. If it is the same person ordering it. Even using a different ship to address.

It’s a reasonable price, but I do already have one, and it’s incomplete, and really what @randomdan and I need is more track, not the full sets…

My aunt who lives in DC gave me a bunch of her MISB sets to sell

I got a few more including a MISB Green Grocer to sell for $800. If interested, let me know this week before I sell it for about 10% more on eBay or bricklink.

You’re killing me, Greg. You guys are a bad influence. My parents say I can’t hang out with you any more.

    You’re killing me, Greg.

I guess I better not tell you about the half price Black Gate sets I saw at WalMart in Butler today. Save your pennies for LUGbulk, Matt.

The temptation is now gone, it lasted less than 24 hours. Please give my regards to your Mom and Dad.

    You ship to Korea?

    You ship to Korea?

I ship to Erlanger Kentucky and “eBay International Shipping” does the rest, including customs forms. Its hard to believe that it works, but its cheaper for a buyer to have something shipped to Australia via eBay International than to Montreal … eBay International does not go to countries where most people play hockey.

My aunt who lives in DC gave me a bunch of her MISB sets to sell for her

She gave me the LEGO (two) Grand Carousel to sell, yes, still in packages. Also I have 6 cypress trees, @bengood921, for $25 each. Honestly, I would not pay these prices but I am cheap and I thought I should let people know they are available in case anyone is interested.

Thanks for the heads up but I’m cheap also. I use the two cypress trees I have because they’re in excellent condition and cause they were free.
