Hey everyone!
If you are interested in working at The LEGO Store, positions will be posted soon.
Soft opening is October the 5th with a grand opening to follow a month later. We are going to host a training a few days before we soft open.If you are interested, please feel free to email me your resume at Paula.Miller@Lego.com
A few things to consider:
*all Brick Specialists will be responsible for providing the 5 steps of service. Greeting, engaging, asking open ended questions, suggesting additional items, and encouraging enrollment with our VIP card
*weekends are a MUST, and you need to be able to work a minimum of 8 hours a week. Remember-the mall is open late during the holidays. You could be scheduled to work until 1130 in December. (December is also a blackout month for requests)
*yes! The discount is generous however we work very hard! We are the LEGO ambassador and create an environment of fun with EVERY guest on EVERY shift!
*and most importantly, I would be your supervisor 😉 (but I’m pretty awesome)I’ve worked in retail for over 20 years and I’ve opened multiple stores, so I can promise a little craziness when we open and it probably won’t calm down until mid January!Don’t hesitate to ask me any questions! I’m super excited to see everyone at opening!
Best,

I specified on there that I was looking for two 8 hour shifts a week (Tuesday and Thursday, preferably daylight). I have not heard anything back yet so I am assuming either I did not get the job or have not been considered yet, either way I just wanted to let you know!

That is unfortunate, but I understand. My primary work days at my other job are overnights on the weekends, so they are always out of the question. I was hoping my daylight weekday availability would be enough but it looks like that a no, at least for now…
