2023 Q1 build challenge -Micropolis build

Thanks again to everyone who participated in the Q1 build challenge. We had a lot of variety and out of the box thinking in the entries submitted that really showed off how talented our members can be.

For those who weren’t there, the winners were:
First – Tim B. @tbrown00
Second – Renee @legoleia51
Third – Mitch @mitchsbricks
Honorable Mention – Jonathan @argonvesher and Logan @loganc

Pictures of Tim’s and Renee’s are below. I didn’t get a solo shot of Mitch’s, so I would ask him to please post one to the thread.

@knb112, I also like your idea of submitting these to @paulamalu to consider for the next store display. Call it “Micropolis Madness” or something catchy like that!!

Mine is available for the LUG to display whenever and wherever we’re doing a micropolis.

I have two that are mostly done. I could hopefully finish them up this month and could add them to a display.

Since I can’t seem to connect with @loganc, here’s the short I made for my micro-opolis Blacktron build. Already has 1.2k views…whaaaat?

I am sorry I had to leave the meeting early. I did complete a build (picture attached). Instead of doing a building (which would have been on point for me), I wanted to do a nature scene. So I did a road with a stream beside it and a hill behind it. On top of the hill is a microscale Hogwarts Express, just because. 😀

Would be neat to display them.

This is definitely one I’m keeping together and going to improve it as I can and…potentially go more old sets micro-scale.
