ParticipantI haven’t replied cause I don’t know if I’ll be there tomorrow or not. I have been fighting off a cough/cold and although it’s getting better, I am probably going to hold off showing up at the store for a couple more days yet. Bob, I’ll have to find another way to get the trees to you next week.

ParticipantI failed to take any pictures, but I was surprised at how wide the store felt. A bit wider than most of the other Lego stores I’ve been to. Everyone there was friendly and excited.

ParticipantWe stopped by this evening and bought a few things. I was hoping to get the winter fire station, but it didn’t appear to be in stock. Rich and Sean were there too. Didn’t see @paulamalu but Nicole was very friendly and Tim at the register was competent even if his nametag said Jim. The store did seem big for a Lego store.

Must have run out because They had a good amount of them this morning, that is what I picked up. I personally did not take pictures of the store, but I agree it is a very large storefront. I would say it may be the same size if not slightly larger than the beachwood store. Only thing that would make it better would be a larger PAB wall.

ParticipantI made it to the pick-a-brick wall after a 14 month drought. Parts new to me were 1×2 orange plates, sand green telescopes, sand green clips and these 1×2 white plates with 3 teeth: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?P=15208&colorID=1
The sand green telescopes were used in the statue of liberty minifig but they look like they could be awesome for making a bamboo forest, especially if you are building a Jungle Cruise, for example. Regardless, today’s experience reaffirmed how much more brick for the buck is in a PaB cup compared to a bricklink order or a boxed LEGO set. 🙂
Thanks to Will’s build challenge, I already have a winter fire station. 🙂

ParticipantLol i would

ParticipantIt was a purely hypothetical example, but if I was going to do a tropical forest, I probably would have gotten two cupfuls while they were available. ???

This brickset article says that you can get the minifig collector picture frame FREE from Oct 15-31 with a $75 purchase. But what does GWP mean?
October 10, 2018 at 5:01 am #29011Pete

ParticipantAlso, if Lego did open a Store here, where would it be?
It seems that the LEGO stores are always in an indoor mall. That would make Ross Park, Monroeville and Century III prime candidates.
October 10, 2018 at 5:08 pm #29017Josh
KeymasterColumbus store was not in an indoor mall.
YOU WERE WRONG

KeymasterLo siento, Greg. We shouldn’t pick on you for *almost* predicting things perfectly…
(To be fair, CIII would’ve been… problematic…)
