I was six or seven, I really wanted the black seas barracuda set, yet Santa brought that for my brother and I got the outpost. I was so upset I cried (hey, I was really young.) Pirates are so cool, and I got colonials instead!
For some reason this stuck with me forever. Never got that dang ship.
Fast forward to 2020, ‘Rona shows up, and this beaute of a set renewed my childish joy. I ordered one on backlog, but couldn’t morally justify spending money on lego when so many were going without much, some even without jobs. It was very hard having to cancel that order.
So here we are today, I’m on staycation and I finally pulled the trigger.
No regrets, only joy!
Nice! Love that you finally get your childhood dream ship. If only a MISB Galaxy Explorer would fall into my lap. :-p
