Figured some people might like to know when we see contests.
here’s one for a teenage mutant ninja turtle vignette. http://www.fbtb.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=9090
Deadlines:
– Submission window starts now until 11:59pm PST Sunday March 31, 2013.
– Voting will be open from April 1 through April 7, 2013.
– Only one round of voting.March 25, 2013 at 4:20 pm #1299Rich MillichParticipantI like the attention here; any contest that any of our LUG members enters should generate support from the rest of us. I am not personally interested, but it sure sounds neat, and I’d heartily support anyone else who entered… pretty much anything.
March 25, 2013 at 4:41 pm #1302Matt RedfieldKeymasterIf I had any time and any custom minifigs, I’d totally throw something together for the movie vignette contest:
It ends Sunday night at midnight; so anyone with a few hours could probably whip something out…
Josh, where was your E.T. pic posted? Some other thread, apparently…? Didn’t someone say it had to be a movie at least 20 years old? I don’t see that on the contest page there…

There are some really good ones. I don’t think I’ll even try to compete.

August 16, 2013 at 1:37 pm #2717JoshKeymasterSeptember 2, 2013 at 1:32 pm #2968JoshKeymasterThis Fall, the challenge is to build a model that is 1:1 scale. The size limit is one cubic foot. There is NO piece limit, but your model must not exceed the size limit (no overhang).
Use your imagination to design a creation! Be creative, it could be anything! This contest will feature FIVE prize categories!
September 2, 2013 at 1:47 pm #2970Matt RedfieldKeymasterI’m planning / building for three major displays in the next 3 months. I got no TIME for contest builds!!!
