For the ninth Brick of Christmas, Dan Walker gave to me

    nine lamp plates festive,
    eight levers crawling,
    seven round bricks rovin’,
    six clip plates mo-no-railin’,

    FIVE GOL – DEN STUDS!

    four radar dishes,
    three droid arms,
    two hinge brick gifts,
and a trans-red cone to top off my tree.

For the ninth Brick of Christmas...

    (1) how the heck are you going to fit all twelve gifts into that room? It’s already getting pretty full.

I’m finding that I need to make use of the vertical space.

is anyone else singing the “12 Days of Christmas Song” using Tom’s lyrics?

Lego part names are far too polysyllabic for this endeavor! According to bricklink, this part is really “Plate, Modified 1 x 1 with Light Attachment – Thick Ring”

I was on Flickr and I noticed this guy’s builds, it might be an interesting idea for a contest in the future, although it’s a bigger commitment. It kinda sort made me think of what you’d get if you combined the 35/70-part contest and the twelve bricks of Christmas – he’s doing his over 24 days where he started with a five-part build on day one and adds five parts a day to the limit on each subsequent build. He started on Dec 1 so he’s nearing the end, you can see his results here:

    The Spyrius Christmas Countdown
    12… Focus the camera.
    11… Check the mic.
    10… Set the trail cam!
    9… Is Reintron on?
    8… Reintron check
    7… Milk and cookies?
    6… Plant the tracker.
    5… GPS ONLINE!
    4… We’ve got a hit!
    3… He’s near!
    2… Get down!
    1… WE FORGOT THE SATELLITE!

The Spyrius henchmen are trying to prove to The Chief and Major Kartofski that Santa is real. It seems this year is a bust, as usual. Back to stealing satellites from Ice Plant 2002…

@randomdan Very fun and entertaining scene. I love the 1986 santa peeking out! The design for reintron is also superb.

The final present was a mini CS spaceship build using 12 headlight bricks. It doubles as an ornament!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the builds @tfdesigns and @smallfrost! I hope that headlight ship has made an appearance on your real Christmas tree.

I thought old Santa’s expression was perfect for the scene haha.

I’ll have to compare notes with @bengood921 on those trees. I recall he had a forest full for his park build a few years back.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
