This was almost a good deal. I confirmed a meet-up time for tomorrow earlier today to buy it from him.

Just got a message that he looked it up on ebay and can’t sell it that low.

    Pick-a-brick wall doc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1q1ZZKjo62kNoE_OjaIUKGcAH-LWMAsjpBK8Xn0sRF2A/edit?usp=sharing

Bit of a work in progress, but something with some simple drop-down type fields should make it pretty easy for anyone to just come and go and edit as needed. Still needs some more formatting, but it’ll get there.

Can someone confirm the grid of the bins at the store? I think is’ 7 bins tall and 10 bins across.

Found this on the Let-Go app. Looks like it’s got everything from set 60026-1.

Not sure if I’m gonna get it, but I’ll be in Pittsburgh next week if anyone wants me to pick this up.

It might be helpful to find out how large of a scale she was thinking of.

If it was built in microscale, it would be much more reasonable and time efficient. Did she provide any idea of a timeframe? I’ll think on this over the holiday and might try to put together a concept build.

It would be helpful to know how big she’s thinking. A 1’x 1′ model on a 32×32 plate wouldn’t be so bad…or is she thinking some huge model taking up a few feet worth of space? I suppose it depends what the purpose of the model would be.

I don’t know if it’s the same type of plastic, but when I used to work with different miniatures, this seemed to work with most types of plastic models. Any store that does Warhammer 40k or similar games will probably have something similar to this for sale, may even have an open bottle you could try out.

I have a rough idea of a big Ice Fortress landscape that I want to build. Still working on getting pieces, but 1000 clear 1×1 round bricks came in the mail for me to build with. This is just playing around but tubes are fun.

This is about 20 minutes away from me. I think I may offer him $40 to pick it up.

The two Vesta wind turbines were gone by 6:02AM so don’t even try!

Who actually wants this set? I mean 199.99 USD for less than 900 pieces? No thanks. But as far as Deals go I did manage to go to walmart this morning and get 3 of the 900 part Black Friday Brick Boxes. The Walmart in West Mifflin had one whole pallet that barely looked touched. Boxes are 20 Bucks a piece

I usually don’t look at blackfriday ads, thanks for the heads up. there were two left at my local walmart when i stopped by at 11 this morning.

The KMart out here in Altoona has been closing for a while now. Their LEGO toys are down to 25% so far, with several super hero/star wars/creator sets on the shelves still. I’m waiting for them to reach 40-50%, it’s just a matter of time.
