You can’t beat buy 2 get one free…. The admission fee basically would be the tax that you would pay…
August 9, 2014 at 6:34 pm #7219Paul BoratkoParticipant$15 to get in…
They said they only sold 2 sets yesterday(Friday) and I was the only one who bought any today…. The prices on them were the regular prices too… They had some of the new Technic sets and many large system sets($100 range)
July 11, 2013 at 6:19 pm #2369Paul BoratkoParticipantWell you can’t get tables without a Pa tax ID number, so I had to apply for one.. It only took a day to get it… I have the show this weekend and then Steel City Con in 2 weeks… Depending on how the Greenburg show goes, I may do it again this winter… Definitely no more AFOL Lego shows though…
July 10, 2013 at 9:25 pm #2361Paul BoratkoParticipantI got my tax ID number today and got Two 6′ tables at the Steel City Con… Also got a 6′ banner made for my website with a QR code in it..
July 8, 2013 at 6:50 pm #2338Paul BoratkoParticipantMy wife is either going out with me on Friday or I am going down with my dad.. My wife is definitely going on Saturday.. I think he has 7 tables for his trains.. I have never been to one of these shows before, so i don’t know what is all even there.. I am taking an Emerald Night set to sell along with a bunch of retired Technic sets.. I am also taking a bunch of 25th anniversary(2008 to 2013) GI Joe stuff to unload… I have a bunch of SDCC figs as well as regulars…
I also contacted that steel city con event for more information and to make sure that my work would be welcomed there… Don’t want to commit to something that I am not right for, you know..?
July 8, 2013 at 5:51 pm #2335Paul BoratkoParticipantI wish that I knew about this earlier.. I would love to do the entire weekend…
June 23, 2013 at 10:23 am #2238Paul BoratkoParticipantI am not taking things just to display, I am taking them to hopefully sell… 🙂
I have 10 copies of each of my instructions on CD(for models that I am taing to display), 10 Transmission Kits(5 of each) with instructions.. I did a full 619 piece yellow Hot Rod kit, and I am also taking some Technic sets to flip.. 8070 supercars, a couple 8041 racing trucks, and a few others…
Then I have a ton of 2007 to 2013 25th anniversary G.I. Joe figs that I am hoping to flip(along with 8 SDCC figures)
I only have two 6 foot tables, so I have to really get creative… I know that we can add shelves to the tables and also use stands and shelves behind the tables.. So space will be very tight this go around..
June 13, 2013 at 12:49 am #2144Paul BoratkoParticipantNo this is my first one, but my dad has been doing these for years(he deals in trains) he said that the show is 50-50 Trains/Toys…
He got me two 6 foot tables last week.. I think they were like $70 each…
This is going to be a regular show for me since I am not doing the AFOL shows anymore due to their stupid ass policies… I like the freedom to do what I want…
This could be a great thing for the LUG to get rolling and become popular in the West, and something that I can contribute to and be a part of since it isn’t too far away..
December 9, 2012 at 1:15 pm #330Paul BoratkoParticipantThis is in my opinion one of the most amazing Lego models ever… The builder has other ones too, but this is the most impressive…
December 4, 2012 at 12:29 am #298Paul BoratkoParticipantDepending on the weather, I will most definitely try to be there..
December 4, 2012 at 12:28 am #297Paul BoratkoParticipantI sent him a message… 😉
December 4, 2012 at 12:25 am #296Paul BoratkoParticipantI’ll take care of that right now…
November 27, 2012 at 7:21 pm #227Paul BoratkoParticipantI have bought parts from them in the past.. They asked me to donate one of my cars to their museum.. I might give them one of my 69 camaro models…
November 16, 2012 at 5:46 pm #168Paul BoratkoParticipantNovember 2, 2012 at 6:11 pm #121Paul BoratkoParticipantLOL.. That wasn’t the link that I wanted to post.. It was this one, which is actually “My Story”
October 31, 2012 at 7:41 pm #116Paul BoratkoParticipantI already have several name badges in various colors as well as custom Bricks for my site and one from Fernando at TechincBRICKS.. I’ll still kick you over the money for a new one.. e-mail or P.M. me you paypal address…
I am also working on custom Micro Fiber shirts for the Kidsfest show that are a combination between Steel City LUG and my own crowkillers.com…
