That’s awesome, Bob!
This attached pic also came in over social media – let me know if you need anything from the LUG to follow up
Thanks everybody for making this event possible! There was A LOT of social media traffic and new likes to the Facebook page. And bob’s incline has been together for years and just now getting that reach out- just to show you it’s not about the freshest builds, it’s about good builds that people relate to! Don’t ever hesitate to keep displaying work you/anyone is proud of!
Also, thanks for getting everything divvied up to take home. I’ll post in the home and garden thread, but the idea will be to help get what was there to the convention center so that we can skip needing a uhaul from my house for set up.

Do you or @joshhall have any plant parts that would look good for a farm row? I think I have some reddish brown 1×8 plates I could use behind my seed drill.
When I arrive early on Saturday to set up the big trains, I’ll get that tractor on the corner and set up the rows of dirt or plants. I’ll just need a green 32×32 module ready in place.
I’m late here – just late enough to not being annoying? I have 3 32×32 baseplates with brown surface that are mostly covered for a wheat field. I designed them to be arranged in any array – 1×3 or an an L. they can rotate appropriately.
January 13, 2025 at 9:32 am #62461JoshKeymasterYep. The event needed to be closed out. @laura, I closed it and filled out the questions like number of public to the best of my ability, but please do review and update those details or if shifts needed to be changed for anyone. You can close again to reconcile cups for anyone
December 20, 2024 at 10:09 am #62151JoshKeymasterHey all!
Here’s another track find from Marketplace, not sure if the price is good or not:
oops, I did it again.
$230 and the dude will ship it to me. I’ll validate it all when it comes in and likely look for the lug to reimburse.
December 18, 2024 at 8:31 pm #62123JoshKeymasteradded the shifts.

1) anyone want to list out what needs to be taken for locomotion and take it?
2) @laura is anything remaining good to be picked up at some to be determined point in time?December 17, 2024 at 7:03 am #62080JoshKeymasterI will not be able to be at tear down since I’ll be driving to Amanda’s parents for the holidays.

December 14, 2024 at 10:08 am #62053JoshKeymasterI see no offense (or humor) there 🙂
Hope the mods respond with a valid reason! It’s just not Christmas without a Greg build! They should know that.
December 14, 2024 at 9:17 am #62047JoshKeymasterPeople are weird. You asked for an explanation?
December 12, 2024 at 8:00 am #62025JoshKeymasterwait, that’s a lie. I see @argonvesher for friday with gabe. I’ll tell her friday.
December 12, 2024 at 7:57 am #62024JoshKeymaster@gabevistica @laura the observer reporter is interested in taking pictures of the display. I’m going to tell them saturday or sunday, since there’s no one currently staffing friday.
December 9, 2024 at 11:02 am #61957JoshKeymasterThey walk alike, they talk alike, sometimes they even build alike.
That a paraphrase of the theme song for The Patty Duke Show which you are too young to have seen / remember. 😀
Thanks for catching it. I watched a lot of Nick at nite and such when I was a kid.

December 1, 2024 at 9:42 pm #61811JoshKeymasterI made a bunch of updates this weekend, and it should make redeeming on pc and phone a lot easier. also viewing/searching/sorting sets and lug owned MILS a lot easier too. I made more additions to the zeitgeist too. https://www.steelcitylug.com/v2/?p=yearlyreport
November 30, 2024 at 11:36 am #61801JoshKeymasterThanks for the note! I’ve been playing with v2 this week, and should have it up by tomorrow night. I fixed v1, but here’s a teaser: https://www.steelcitylug.com/v2/?p=catview
November 29, 2024 at 1:13 pm #61773JoshKeymasterI thought for sure I had a thread for this already, but I can’t find it. We are confirmed for it already.
We could double do a single C shape of r40 outer loop with using the wide radius RC on a double inner loop (counter-interuitive, i know) so we can have the bridge still. Very crude and not to scale visualization attached.

November 24, 2024 at 3:20 pm #61726JoshKeymasteranyone respond to you? I have one that’s probably missing a few pieces of the spiral railing since I transported it many times to shows. all the figs are there. I was waiting to see if anyone else wanted to part with theirs, but I don’t mind making extra money if no one else has one.
November 14, 2024 at 8:31 pm #61610JoshKeymasterI have made no more work on the bridge since home and garden and I don’t plan to tinker with it before then.
@playingwithechoes – just to be sure, no chance you want to demo the behemoth, right? https://www.steelcitylug.com/forum/topic/the-behemoth-bridge/November 9, 2024 at 8:17 pm #61489JoshKeymasterSometimes it’s okay to have no color scheme
I love the rainbow warrior style. good job!
October 23, 2024 at 3:43 pm #61236JoshKeymasterIf someone wants to write a blurb or do a doc with instructions, I can update the new member greeting message and maybe we can put it other places too.
