We got project support for building mosaics? wkr? Was there a designated pattern on which this order was based?
This was more for the play activity that we do at Arts Fest and other events, similar to play brick.
has all of these and can advise further as to what we have and whether anyone has asked or intends to use these during the time period for the Cranberry display (~June thru August).
Actually, Josh has them. He asked for them for an event recently. There may be one event over the summer that could use them, but we could make due without too. There’s no children’s festival this year.
I’m going to fill my car with whatever I have, but I also need to bring 2 tables and a bin of LUG items. If I have additional space, what would be the best thing to bring? I have more modulars for the train, video game stuff for the worlds, and the Pac Man lenticular. I can’t guarantee any more, but if I can fit an apartment in a Civic Coupe, I think I can squeeze a few more things in.
@kensc I have your nutcracker. I couldn’t recall if I brought mine or not, but he’s safe. I can bring to Home and Garden if you’re going.
I’ll bring the power tap I usually bring, the LUG table covers, signs, and whatever other LUG stuff I have.

@kensc Kyle’s the Admin, you’ll want to connect with him on how to do that in a way that’s sustainable.

I usually throw out themes that we can reuse the builds for upcoming shows. The general public loves a good Pittsburgh-themed build. With Ultimate Brick being in November, we could always do Pittsburgh Landmarks, but that may be too close to the habitats.
Since the meeting will be around summer, we could also revisit the underwater build challenge using the standard that I think ColonialLUG did. (Yes, I’m channeling Cam) Everyone had to use a 10×10 Octagonal plate (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=89523&name=Plate,%20Modified%2010%20x%2010%20Octagonal%20with%20Hole&category=%5BPlate,%20Modified%5D#T=C) as the base so they could be connected together into a big piece at the end. I know I have pictures somewhere. I’ll keep looking.
@kacierno Are you bringing your insects? If so, I won’t bring mine, unless we need a second butterfly.

They all were absolutely amazing! So much creativity and detail packed into such tiny builds. I agree that this is something we should continue to expand on. I’m sure they’ll be a fan favorite.
@tfdesigns @smallfrost Hurricane Ivan came through Pittsburgh the day before mine and Will’s wedding. It made for a very fun rehearsal that day.
