I’m also working on some half-sized modulars for some of the spaces that could be MOC or filler.

Found a moment this morning to add my modulars to the sheet. I can also build the Boutique Hotel and Tutor Corner (when it arrives) if needed.

    @pete
I know you brought some last year. If there are any that both you and I have, bring yours. I can swap mine out for something else.

I’ll add my modulars to the sheet this week.

I’m going to sign up for displaying only for now, but that will likely change as we get closer. 😊

How many modulars do you need this year @rcgrier3406? I have at least 2-3 more I can try to get done. I should have the new one by thn too.

Welcome to the group Michael. I lived in Centre County for a brief time in college.

Yes, the PAB wall is now using boxes. We’ve tested it out and it fills the same, if not a tiny bit more in the boxes.

Do you come down to the Pittsburgh area often? If so, we have some really great events coming up that you may want to display or just hang out with us at.

We got a mention in the Butler Eagle. The article was behind a paywall, but I used a website to bypass it. Here’s the article:

CRANBERRY TWP — Despite his never-ending list of responsibilities during this time of year, Santa Claus doesn’t forget to rank Cranberry at the top of his destination list.

Thousands of children and parents greeted jolly Saint Nick as he made his way to the township’s newly renovated municipal building for his first stop of the year on Friday evening, Nov. 22.

“We love the fact that he decides to make the first stop of the season here in Cranberry Township,” said Dan Santoro, township manager. “Our parks and recreation department, along with our public works department, do a great job of getting the grounds ready for Santa. It just gets better every year.”

Santa’s First Stop is a tradition dating back several decades in the township. Each year draws a crowd that quickly fills up the hundreds of parking spots surrounding the building.

“The families, the kids and just all of the people together,” said supervisors chairman Mike Manipole about what makes the event so special. “You can always feel the excitement here, and everyone is just happy to be here. It’s so great seeing neighbors, families, grandchildren and grandparents celebrating the common goal of niceness.”

This year’s event featured a Polar Express Experience, festive photo booth, live reindeer and a room devoted to Lego building courtesy of Steel City LUG. Members of the Dutilh Church sang carols, and the library hosted arts and crafts activities for children.

There also were numerous local businesses and township employees who set up activities in the gym while thousands of children waited to greet Santa Claus.

“Our employees love this holiday,” Manipole said. “This is a great place because our employees really do care about the community and the people we serve.”

Just a day before the event, township officials and partners gathered out front for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of the Armstrong Great Lawn. While the weather was less than ideal, it did not deter township staff from setting up a multitude of bright lights and Christmas decorations for families to enjoy as they made their way inside.

“We’ve made this (municipal center) a destination, a place where families can all be and where everyone can get together and celebrate what’s great about our community,” Manipole said. “It’s so exciting because this is just a kickoff of events that will stay in families’ memories for a lifetime.”

And the only photo with our display is attached.

Do you want me to bring the scavenger hunt sign? I have plenty of leftover Halloween candy we can pass out with it.

I’m brining the table covers and don’t touch signs too.

I could actually use the extra that Ben doesn’t need too: Plush Toy Collector, Hamster Costume Fan, Pterodactyl Costume Fan, Cupid, and Longboarder. Thanks!

@rcgrier3406 You’re a lifesaver! That will be enough to make it look finished. I really appreciate it. Thank you!

I can be up there around then too. I have the banners. My stuff shouldn’t take too long to set up so I can help out however we need.

On a completely unrelated note, does anyone have 2 of these in red that they could bring? I miscalculated for my tree and am short. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=6081&C=5#T=P&C=5

I completely forgot about my Christmas ornaments. I bought a small tabletop tree to put them on. So I just need a little extra space for that. I’ll also bring additional filler that we can add as needed.

Tim, I’m not sure exactly yet, but somewhere between a 1/4 to a half of a table. My things are on the smaller side and we could spread them throughout if we have gaps.

I’m going to say 1500, but I feel like that’s either really conservative or really high.

Also, @laura when you have final numbers, could you please fill out this form? Thanks! https://forms.gle/6NTRwhE1wrCYkMFX6

I got a hold of someone at Macy’s with some knowledge about the event and learned that there are no stores in Pittsburgh doing the parade build. 🫤
