Hello everyone. Those trains look great! I like the idea of the Wild West Theme Park too.
I haven’t been too active here lately as we’ve been working on replacing our home that burned down.
We’ve been taking one of our classic cars to the annual Antique Car Show at the Trolley Museum for years (since it was the Arden Trolley Museum), in fact that’s how we found out about Steel City LUG.
In any case, we’ll be attending Sunday for the Classic Car show and I’ll bring my collection of 6w moc classic cars, the small 1950s gas station and a horse-drawn carriage for the Wild West. If there’s room for ’em on the display that’s cool. If not, that’s ok too. It will still be fun to enjoy the display and everyone’s builds, as we do every year.
And to ride every one of the antique trolleys they have running and explore the whole place.
We look forward to it every yearApril 15, 2019 at 2:39 am #31073RockoParticipantGreat pics Tom!
The whole event was fun, it was my first event with the group and it was really cool to hang out with fellow Lego fans.
I was very pleasantly surprised to be awarded First Place, because the other entrants were also Excellent builds (the Police and Fire Chief ’57 Chevies, the inverted Disneyland Land Rover, and of course the fleet of Racers).
The Trophy is awesome (Kudos to the builder!) and is proudly displayed with my Lego cruisemobiles ?
Thank you all for a great time, and looking forward to future events

Since our house burned down I’ve been building my collection back up and I mostly build MOC classic cars (and trucks) in 6W and 8W.
Which raises a question:
Must the cars be Speed Champion-style only, IE 6W bodies with 4W passenger compartments?
OR will 8W cars be acceptable too?
I’ve built about 20 classic and antique cars & trucks, each seats at least one minifig (some seat more), but some are 6W (Speed Champion-sized) and some are 8W.
So it would be good to know if the Car Show entrants will be limited to 6W vehicles Only or if 8W will also be allowed.
Please let me know.

The Farm set was one I wanted too, I remember looking at it in the little catalog that came with my first set, but never saw it at a store. I eventually approximated it as my brick collection grew.
Those classic sets were great fun, I remember ’em well.
(I thought I had replied to your message shortly after you posted it but apparently it didn’t go through).
Thanks Matt
and Tom as well!Rocko
