This may just be the kick in the pants I’ve needed to finally do it!
July 7, 2018 at 5:42 am #27846Greg SchubertParticipantI saw this contest a little while ago and I was thinking of taking my Hartwood Acres mansion over to get a photo in front of the actual building.
Of course, my MOC is not “Architecture scale,” but that’s more like a guideline. Actually I do not know what the actual scale should be. When I tried to research it, I read that the LEGO architecture skyline buildings can range from 1:700 to 1:2500 (http://brickarchitect.com/skylines/)
Regardless, someone in SteelCity LUG should do an iconic Pittsburgh skyline because it would be great to have just for shows. Is anyone interested in collaborating on this over the next two weeks? The completion deadline is Aug 2.

July 7, 2018 at 10:33 am #27852JoshKeymasterthere was a contest a while back where someone did the pgh skyline…will, weren’t you one of them too?

“We encourage you to build in the LEGO Architecture style and scale – although this is not a requirement for entry.”
