how am I just now realizing there were 2 fort legorado sets?
The original was released in 1996 and then was re-released in 2002 as a Legends set.

They didn’t call it Fort Legoredo for nothin’!
July 14, 2025 at 1:22 pm #65117If you guys could help out with dropping a like on my Bricklink train submission and spreading the word, I would appreciate it. BL is hosting a contest to design different trains and wagons to make a consist from the entries.
Mine is, of course, a STEM nuclear waste transport based on modern ones rolling out in real life over in the Midwest. Here is the link to see it.

Looks like the Parisian and the wind turbine and a bunch of friends sets. If anyone wants to go but doesn’t want all the sets, let me know!

Greg SchubertParticipantWorse than TARGET having NO holiday polybag sets, is TARGET having disappointing, overpriced holiday polybags.

January 29, 2026 at 11:49 am #68091OK, that time it worked. I was going to mention the LEGO Ideas Architecture: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that is currently looking for votes. Maybe my message failed last time because I attempted to link the URL so I’m not doing that this time.

to that point, chatgpt just put together a plugin to ‘allow people with accounts older than 30 days post links at will’ or something like that. Hopefully it’ll keep things all loosey goosey for trusted people.
January 30, 2026 at 7:58 am #68134Yep, that worked great, thanks ChatGPT 🤣

When I search the forums, I’m no longer given the option to search by message or by topic (or if I am, I can’t find it). So I’m once again getting results that don’t make sense to me, and I’m not able to find the topic that I currently need.
Bonus observation – the way the home page is showing up on my screen, the ‘latest threads’ and ‘newest threads’ boxes have a lot of empty space at the bottom, presumably so that their length matches the ‘who is online’ box, which is full. So it seems like more topics could be added to the other two lists without changing the layout.

Greg SchubertParticipantWhen I search the forums, I’m no longer given the option to search by message or by topic
Maybe I wasn’t ever aware that feature existed, I’ve always searched by keyword and that still seems to work … somewhat.

I always set it to Topics, because I got much better results that way. For example, if I searched for Build Day at Walter’s using Replies, as far as I can tell, it would bring up any post that contains “day” in any context. Even using Topics, I got a lot of results over the years that I couldn’t explain. Earlier this evening, under the current format, when I searched for Threadjacking, the first two results on the list were posts that were not from the Threadjacking thread.
It probably doesn’t help that it’s been clear in the past that when some people pick their thread names, they do not take into consideration that people might need to search for it at some point, and that they might need to make sure it’s differentiated from similar topics.
January 30, 2026 at 7:35 pm #68159As a bonus post: this one’s less inconvenient but it also makes no sense to me, and it’s been going on for years: when I either post to Threadjacking or click on an email link taking me to somebody’s post in Threadjacking, it always takes me to the penultimate page in the thread, instead of the last one. For example, right now we’re well into page 64 of Threadjacking, but when I clicked on Greg’s link, it took me to page 63. I then went to page 64, wrote my post, clicked submit, and the page refreshed with me on page 63 again. I can’t specifically remember if it’s ever happened on any other thread here other than Threadjacking, and I can’t remember if there was ever a period where it stopped doing it.
January 30, 2026 at 7:40 pm #68160Bonus bonus post, since I just noticed this: Under Recent Replies on the right, it gives how long it’s been since the listed post was made, in hours and minutes. Frost posted to what the heck is Greg doing? thread 18 hours, 6 minutes ago, etc. But for a several of them, it just says “sometime ago”. Is that an error? Is that a new thing? I’ve definitely never noticed it before.
January 30, 2026 at 7:42 pm #68161Oh it gets even better: all the Recent Threads, which should be the most-recently started threads compared to Recent Replies’ most-recently replied-to…. Are from 2022. Even though threads have been started since the migration.

I’m actually not seeing that, my Latest Activity list on the home page is showing 2026 stuff, including your post above. Unless you’re looking at something different… Oooooh, I see it. On the home page, it’s fine. But now that I’m the Threadjacking page to post, the Recent Threads is down to the right, and it’s… different. It’s like a trip down memory lane, I totally remember when I got my Galaxy Explorer at half off from Walmart in the fall of 2022.

I recently received a nice nuclear power plant set that was designed by a third-party provider who did not supply real LEGO bricks in the set. So I painstakingly replaced all the pieces but this with real LEGO. If anyone knows what it is called or a part number, I would appreciate it.
