Anybody have any advice for removing the panes from windows? Specifically, I’m talking about the 1x2x2 window:

This is not a new problem for me, yet I remember that it wasn’t always this way. I’ve tried a variety of solutions and none of them work reliably, and so I have a whole bag of windows with panes in them that I haven’t gotten out yet, waiting to be added to the Apocaclarence pile.

Use the technic axel part of the Brick Separator. That has always worked for me. Just make sure to put the axel in the back end of the window (obviously) and at the top or bottom part of the window pane. If you put it in the middle and apply force it wont work nearly as well.
On one hand, I don’t want to steal his thunder, but on the other, I’m not sure he’s necessarily planning on posting anything about it here. So I’ll just say: for anybody who knows @twrt0es Jason Middaugh, you should ask him if he has any big news for us.

Recently, Google has become less helpful with this sort of image recognition task. Anyway, I found the answer by looking for sets with a 1×4 reddish brown panel.
Anyone here with trains, beside me? It’s that time of the year again with the Brick Train Awards. Go to their website and submit photos or renders of your MOCs. I’d like to see Steel City LUG being represented in the entries from trains, wagons, cabooses, etc

Do we have a thread for CSC Locomotion Weekend 2027? Just realized it’s only a few months away. Are we planning to return to the Science Center? I plan on debuting the public display of the X12 locomotive there, since it’s a science train. 🙂
I haven’t seen a thread yet, but I think they’ve been slow about contacting us the last year or two.
@timf usually gets the email from Nicole inviting us, but I assume he hasn’t gotten it yet.

Got the email last Friday, looks like Krista should have recieved it. Dates are January 16 and 17 with setup o Fri the 15th. Those would be the weekend leading to MLK Day.

I’m getting an error message on the internal message system where it says message not sent because I haven’t entered any content, except that I have.
EDIT: I got it to work Friday evening.
2nd EDIT: I got to work by refreshing the page more than once. But that was a strange error. The text was clearly visible in the field it said was empty.

I can’t recreate it, and I lost the opportunity to take a screen shot after I got it to work. The url was probably whatever it is for sending messages from my profile page. Basically the page looked like it always does, with a message typed in, but the message field was gray instead of white.
I haven’t needed to send another message since then. If nobody else is having this problem then we might be able to blame it on Delly, which did a few other things in the aftermath. At the time I was in a hurry, so I was looking for a quick solution.

Nostalgia! The LUG certainly has grown in 15 years. Crowkillers had a huge footprint for that show.
I see @juliamorley’s ship in a REAL bottle, years before LEGO created set 21313. She’s a UPMC ER doc now.
I think the IKEA was built by @dc221803, who showed up in a search just THIS morning when I was looking for an image of LUG Doug. 🙂
