Thanks, @joshhall and @gabevistica for looking into it and for making updates. I will gladly give it another try as I believe this will be helpful for the giant TUBS double footprint layout I’m working on and it’s potential for multi-lug collaboration. Seriously, thanks. I’ll let you know how it goes on my end.

Agree @gabevistica. One other footnote, I was able to place smaller baseplates “on top” of the LRC (Long Radius Curve) 4×4 block, which temporarily solved the issue you brought up the other day about that LRC box not being the actual baseplate footprint for those long radius corners.

As long as we can have that 40″ gap (4 baseplates) via a couple custom made tables, I can make the bridge work within the tight footprint. If the bridge is on the narrow end, I can forgo the cargo flask platform on the Schanbel and it should be able to fit the R104 curve leading into the tower module.…Read more

I received official notification from the Science Center that we have the same layout space as last year – “Steel City LUG 12’ x 20’ twelve 6 ft tables”.

We could still incorporate the bridge (maybe along the front or back lengths) but that would eat up a fair amount of display space.

That’s right @gabevistica. Another reason why we always left space around the perimeter in the past. We might want to leave space (or use a spacer) between two of the tables on the left side to account for this and let the MILS bases span the gap.

The color choice depends somewhat on having inverted 1×2 slopes. Also, plates for the Steel City side are really useful, but I didn’t really need trans red plates on the LUG side.
