I wonder if you still have that ‘Mech with the removeable armor. That MOC was awesome.

Micah got a shout out by his friend Eli, builder of the year.

We are in the presence of royalty.

Maybe not a blog, but worth sharing: https://www.post-gazette.com/life/goodness/2021/10/08/Steel-City-LUG-pittsburgh-lego-user-group-society-builders-afol-josh-hall/stories/202110030072

Ha! Didn’t even think about that being a possible pab earning article! Totally giving credit to everyone there! 🙂

As those normally go, quotes were a little off, and I never seek to be the center of attention. Seemed like she kinda liked the Amanda story angle. Glad she liked the Micah and Nancy stories too!

[Bob Grier]

The article is on page G4 of today’s (Sunday, October 10th) Post Gazette, along with a couple of the pictures!

[Tim]

That is a great article!

[Rich Millich]

I was a little uncomfortable that RLUG benefits were mentioned in the article. I always thought we were to keep corporate support close to the vest?

[Josh]

Yeah, I was surprised she used that in the article. We’re ok though. LUGBULK exists. People are allowed to know it exists and what it is. The problem, and restriction is over ACTUAL prices. LEGO does not want those shared, ever.

[Krista K]

@twrt0es got a mention!

[Jason Middaugh]

lol… my mom actually sent me that article without reading it last night. We were both surprised to learn that we got a mention! Too bad that they didn’t include the LEGO site link since it has been shared over 2K times. Oh well… trying to line up some media coverage this holiday season and there will be a story on WTAE later this month, so be sure to look for it!

Whoo hoo! Frost AND Penelope got blogged in this one.

They seem to think, however, that Penelope is Frost’s sister, so I might have to post a comment there to clear things up.

Whoo hoo! I’d been keeping an eye out, cause I thought this one might make the cut on TBB. And since my name is right there in the description, this is now the closest I’ve been to being blogged myself on the site.

My mention on Tips and Bricks is now on their website:

Very cool, Krista. Great article as well. Hopefully, our LUG feels inclusive and welcoming to everyone (it does to me but as a male I may be oblivious). LEGO knows no boundaries! Lego brick for all!
