Been a while but for fun, started working on a Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary model set to Speed Champions scale. It’s built from the ground up so it’s not a MOC of the old Lego Countach set. Even the nose while similar features a correct 7w tile assembly at the front for the bumper and a new front skirt. The shoulder vents feature standard Lego parts with a grille print on them and the windscreen with gray a-frames so it’s buildable. This one has been tweaked since posted on Discord.
Why the 25th Anniversary model? Because it’s a special edition of the Countach that’s been overlooked by people who prefer the 5000 QV (which is understandably considered the perfected iteration of the Countach). However, I have a model of the 25th Anniversary by Ricko on my shelf of 1:18 Lamborghini diecasts and it seemed like it wanted to be made in Lego. I will probably pair this with my highly detailed Espada moc once I finish the details on this Countach. I’d like to have an operable bonnet to show the engine inside, as I do model that even when the car bodies are fixed.
Shall we put on some Gary Numan music, done the 1980s big hair and shoulder pads, and go back to the 1980s?
