Lego Talk at local Library

Hi everyone I could use your input and ideas. I live in Conneautville, PA (north of Pittsburgh and south of Erie) and I have been invited to do a Lego talk at my local Library. I am going to bring a couple of my MOCs to show the kids, but I would like to have some Lego related activities to do with them. Does anyone have any suggestions? I think that I will have access to a tub of Lego that the library keeps on hand and I can bring some of my bulk if I need specific pieces. The kids will probably range from kindergarten age to middle school — maybe up to 20 kids. I have a couple of ideas (trivia, Lego Pictionary) but I am sure you all have some really creative ideas. 🙂

I can give you a ton of activities, but what is really recommended is something that ties into what you love to build and are bringing. For example, if you’re talking about architecture, have them build some place meaningful to them. The challenge can be scaled to limit the number of bricks, color, etc. I’m happy to also send my “library” of activities too. 😊

Krista, Did you once tell me about an activity where the kids were paired up to make a build? Can you send me some information on that activity?
