Need mass quantities of tiles –

I vaguely remember Lego took over Bricklink recently. A couple of years ago, if I recall correctly, I was able to go through Bricklink, pick my parts from multiple sellers, and checkout ONCE for all the bricks I selected. Now I have to checkout from multiple sellers, meaning whoever has the quantity and types of bricks I’m shopping for…..I am not going to check out 12 different times, for example.
Am I stuck with ordering mass quanities from whoever has enoough?
I want to buy a few hundred light gray and dark gray tiles ONE time, not many times.
Appreciate yall setting me straight on the best way to do this, which does not necessarily have to be the cheapest way…..my time is worth a few cents per brick difference among brick sellers.
(Just spent about an hour putting everything in my carts in Bricklink before I realized how many times I had to check out.)

I have never seen a purchase area where you order from several sellers but pay once. For me, it has always been individual sellers.

Try ordering direct from LEGO.

I agree with Jim. The only nuance would be if you happened to find a store that had all the parts you wanted.

This is reminding me of an article I read several years ago, about people who frequented estate sales and auctions in order to slowly collect specific but maybe hard-to-find that items they wanted in order to assemble their dream home; examples given included cabinet handles, stoves, and French doors. If I had the money, I’d rather just design my dream home and build it right away, and so I remember telling Rachel that I thought that the whole process sounded miserable, except that I’d almost immediately recognized that I have been doing essentially the same thing with Lego for two-plus decades, via BrickLink, Lego store PAB walls, LUGBulk, set purchases, and the BrickFair yard sales. At ILD last month, Frost was telling me about a major score he had on rare parts, and I was comparing it to back in the early 90’s, when I sometimes had to do a lot of searching for certain music and books. When Amazon came along, it made all that a lot easier, but it also eliminated that thrill of discovery.

More to your point, I also know of no such feature that checks you out of multiple stores at once on BrickLink. I have to wonder if what you’re really remembering is the Wish List feature. BrickLink lets you create a Wish List, and then you can have it search among the stores and consolidate the order to as few stores as possible. If you’d used this feature, and it was able to find everything in a single store, then you would have only had to check out one time. (I don’t use it much, so I have a small sample size, but I’ve never once had BL find my entire list in a single store.)

I agree that if cost doesn’t matter, the way to go is Lego’s PAB online. If you’re ordering very ordinary parts, you should be able to find what you need, although Lego will cap you at 999 of any given part per order. Shipping is incredibly cheap, but anything coming from Denmark can sometimes take really long to arrive.
