What was the inspiration?
I built this for an online contest: https://www.flickr.com/photos/klubkockice/albums/72157663416762041. One of the categories was Ancient Civilization. Druids were one of my ideas for a civilization you rarely see in LEGO.

I just noticed your Flickr stream a few weeks ago. Pretty cool to hear you are in the area. Welcome to the club.
Back on topic: the clown’s hair seems cool until you realize those parts were hair to begin with… then it becomes marginally less cool, but still pretty cool, but definitely not as cool as the eyebrows. I think the mushroom bowtie is actually my second favorite bit… only Aaron would think to put ‘shrooms on a hot dog! (have you tried that in real life, @finntegotash?)
Naw, I’m more adventurous with my bricks than my food.
‘Cept maybe at Suzies, but I didn’t see mushrooms there…
Also – do we have a Q4 meeting in the works at which we’ll have this contest?

For a week or so now, I’ve been thinking we should give someone a bonus cup credit if they get blogged by brothers brick or some other main site and get a link/mention to steel city lug. This will help support the goal of getting global recognition to steel city lug that I mentioned at Q3. Way to force my hand to a decision. Well done. +1 cup.

WHAT?? Do you know if this theft has been linked to particular parts of the city or does it seem to be widespread in the whole area?
I’d suggest giving out two winners – Best Build, and Best Use of Lime.
An optional third prize would be Worst Use of Lime, in which the builder deliberately builds something out of lime that totally should not be, such as Greg’s Statue of Liberty and Darth Maul suggestions.
All three judging categories sound good, especially if we can get a prize for Best Build and Worst Use. 😉
As stated previously, the smallest set will be the prize for each quarterly challenge. This quarter will be set 3930, Stephanie’s Outdoor Bakery
Will this be the prize for most doors used or the most creative use?
I got the set and it’s pretty fun. A few nice parts like the black r2-d2 legs and of course the dish.
