the friends hair I think is fantastic and I want to see it keep coming. Primarily because it works on regular figs.

Glad this thread took off so well. Let me share two more tips for yinz.
First, remember to submit photos to our LUG group!
Submit anything you’d like to share but please try to keep things like, duplicates, excessive angles/alternatives of one thing, and generally boring photos to a minimum! This place is for the world to see our best in one group!Second I see a lot of you dont have many contacts added. I am nearly integrated with every person I’ve ever seen that does Lego on flickr. Every time someone follows me I click on them and if I see Lego I follow back. An excellent way to build up your community there is to check out http://www.brothers-brick.com/ every now and then and add people who get featured there. You’ll see some impressive things there nearly daily and its a wonderful way to get a constant stream of inspiration flowing to your flickr stream!
Also one of flickr’s best utilities was the ability to place notes anywhere on a photo. Spot some NPU (nice part usage)? Place a square around it in the photo and add a note! To me, “ovo” also looks like “ova”, which is like an egg or something… I feel like there’s a punchline to that thought, but it’s not coming to me.

I’d really like to have a “chunk of town” for myself to work on. Something train related maybe. Just something I can work on every now and then that’d be compatible with everyone elses stuff.

Why is this even a thing? Friends is great. Great colors for us and the sets sell really well. Obviously someone likes them. I’ve had enough of people raising gender issues about things like this that aren’t really problems at all.
Don’t do it! As much as Chris would like you to subscibe to his blog, you’d learn a ton more about shopping for Lego and being frugal by hanging out with us for free!
No CMF’s at Kmart; I stopped there on the way home from Future Tenant. Evan, since you have a connection at Kmart, I hope you have your finger on the pulse of the toy section. I am eager to get the word that its go time.

I’ve seen series 11 at C3 TRU so far and thats it.
C3 Toysrus has them. I got most of what I wanted and I’ve still been feeling all the series 10 bags I can find for a Mr gold. It sucks how the chances are worse due to store managers and employees getting to them before consumers 🙁
If the minifigures website is accurate, there’s still more than half in the wild.
