so idk were to ask this but should I invest in 19 pieces of monorail short track? its going to cost me upwards of 100 bucks. i want to build my space display and go lego monorail but some of this 3d printed stuff looks so much cheaper.
i could also do the same effect im looking for with 3 long and 3 short pieces of track since i have 1 long that i can find. but doing that makes the build harder to transport.
@philmatt24 this part of our forum is public and as such i thought id be best to censor myself.
Anyway a few days left I dont think i’m going to win (obvious from the start) but it was cool to finally enter one of these. Thx to anyone that hearted mine.
@zaximillian yeah sure i can host i just need to clean up my room a bit i’ve been busy fixing my cars. but yeah just txt me some dates and ill see what looks good.
Im up for it and its your money. Lol all i have to do is talk to my wife and as long as i have my things i need to do done my wife could give 2 s&>/@ what i do in my spare time (with in reason).

I can scrape that together. A better question is whether it is worth the purchase price, the driving, etc. Because if there’s no long range plan, then its just another time-consuming chore.
If its under $4 a lb im all for it. As far as the drive it 4 hours away it would need to be a weekend thing and i would probably rent a car and make a road trip with some ppl so we could take shifts driving and only take a day to do it.

So last night my son was working on his brickhead and this morning he came at me with this and was like do you think i could enter this in the competition? Lol i was like you missed it by a few days but ill show it to the LUG.
I didnt start a thread cause my contact told me they came and destroyed all the displays and shipped all the lego to other stores. After talking to the manager she said that corp decided to ship almost all the lego from closing store to other places like the overseas stores and etc.

Have fun with those wheels, the sparrow uses the “snow shoes” cause nothing else i could find would work in that amount of space.
