I attended a Lego expo a few years ago (as a guest, not an exhibitor), but that’s been my most recent contact with anyone in the LUG.

Unfortunately the first version of the castle has been ruthlessly scavenged for use in the second version of the castle. The central octagonal structure has remained intact, but that’s pretty much it. I have a bunch more photos of the first version, though. Most of the interior microbuilds are finding new homes as well.
